The #1 thing that keeps us from making money online!

There is so much information online that there really is no excuse that holds up when it comes to making money online. There is plenty of bad infromation but if we just spend the time researching we can find really good information that will get us started and help us to become successful in our own online home based business.

I have found that the thing that holds us back is actually taking action. We can have all the knowledge in the world but if do not apply that knowledge nothing will happen. I know this sounds familiar but I am a perfect example this week. I got back from vacation on Monday night and haven't done thing to promote any of my websites all week. I just did a couple things today including writing this hub. I have heard it time and time again and you probably have as well.

Why is it that we do not take the neccessary actions to move our business to the next level? I believe a lot of it is the fact that we don't have a step by step action plan and we do not keep track of completed tasks. We need to sit down and put a REAL game plan together. Start with a goal in mind then map your action step outline. After this is complete take each action step in our outline and write detailed step by step instructions. If we will be working a home based business part time, we need to be conscience of the amount of time we have available to complete each step. We can not over do it because it won't work. We need to be sure we have the time to complete the action plan properly. It would be better to alot 2 hours per day and actuall work 3 than the other way around. Also keep in mind that we may not be able to work our business every day. Allocate 3-4 nights per week. If we do more, great!

It's always better to watch our goals get closer than to watch them get further away. If our action plan has been set so that we meet our goal in 6 months working 2-3 hours per day 3-4 nights per week and we actually harder then our goals will be accomplished quicker. If we set everything up to be accomplished in 4 months working 4 hours per day 6 nights per week and we find that we are unable to keep these commitments our goal now takes longer and we egt discourages and quit.

Let's be sure to keep our goals realistic and achievable. Let's make our action plan doable and let's stick to it.
